Every Rentoth feature for your car rental agency
Rentoth is online software for car rental agencies in Morocco. Here is everything it does today, group by group. Every feature is included in every plan: the plans differ only by the number of cars. The one option billed apart is Rentoth's tracking server for trackers that send to it directly, a monthly fee per tracker.
Bookings and fleet calendar
Guide: From booking to signed contract- All bookings in one place: those from your website and those taken at the desk, by phone or on WhatsApp, with where each came from.
- Search by reference, customer name or email, and filters by status, payment and dates.
- Today's views in one tap, with their counts: today's pickups, today's returns, overdue cars and unpaid bookings.
- No double bookings: Rentoth checks that the car is free for every new booking and every change of dates, even when two requests arrive at the same moment.
- Pending, confirmed, active, completed, cancelled and no-show statuses, with the cancellation reason, and an undo after a wrong tap.
- Date changes and extensions: availability is checked again and the price recalculated; for an extension, only the new days follow today's rates.
- Minimum and maximum rental length per car, and blocked days with their reason.
- Fleet calendar in month, week or list view: pickups, returns, blocked days and the due dates of the cars' papers.
- An internal note on every booking, at any status: your team adds, edits or clears it and sees who changed it last and when. It is never shown to the customer: not in emails, contracts or on your website.
- A History on every booking, newest first and in each reader's language: who did what and when, from the booking's creation to status and date changes, extensions, payments recorded or removed, the deposit, the return, the internal note and the young-driver fee. Nobody can edit or delete it, and customers never see it.
Online booking website for your agency
Guide: Your booking website- A website in your name on youragency.rentoth.com, or on your own domain name, included in every plan.
- A home page with a search by dates and city, and a fleet page with filters (category, gearbox, fuel, price, seats, rental point) that shows only the cars free on the chosen dates.
- A page for each car: photos, specifications, equipment and a live price by rental length, season, weekend, insurance, extras and delivery; the deposit and the included kilometres are shown.
- Booking requests with no account to create: the customer gets a reference and finds the booking online again with that reference and their email.
- A request holds the car for up to 3 hours while you answer; nothing is confirmed without you.
- Call and WhatsApp buttons, with a ready-written message that names the car and the dates.
- Cars that are inactive, in maintenance or whose papers have expired disappear from the website by themselves.
Automatic emails and notifications
- A new booking on your website: an email to the agency's address, the account owner's and, if you want, one more address (the front desk's, for example).
- To the customer who books on your website: an email confirming receipt, with their reference, as soon as they send the request, then an email when you confirm, decline or cancel the booking.
- The contract's signing link, emailed to the address on the contract; the contract shows whether the email was delivered.
- A contract signed through the link: the whole team sees a notification at once, and the agency's address and its managers get an email with the contract number, the customer, the car and its plate, the pickup and return, and when it was signed.
- Car papers to renew: an email 30 days before, 7 days before and on the day insurance, registration or technical inspection expire, to the agency's address and its managers; at most one email a day, listing every paper concerned, the most urgent first.
- Emails to customers carry your agency's name, go out in the customer's language (six languages, Arabic right to left), and their replies reach your inbox.
- Before you confirm or cancel a booking, the screen tells you whether the customer will get an email.
- Four switches in Settings (new bookings to the agency, emails to customers, contract signed, car papers), and the language of the agency's emails.
- Live notifications in the dashboard, written in each person's own dashboard language: new booking, status changes and cancellations, date changes and extensions, car returned, return due today or tomorrow, overdue at 1, 3, 7, 14 and 30 days, unanswered request, papers expiring, contract signed; and a browser notification on a computer, if you allow it, while the dashboard is open.
- Forgotten password: a reset link by email.
Rental contracts and electronic signature
Guide: From booking to signed contract- A contract created from the booking, already filled in: customer, car, dates, price, extras and deposit; for a returning customer, their details come from their last contract.
- The renter's papers: CIN, passport or residence card with its number, driving licence with its number and expiry date, address, phone and email.
- Mileage and fuel level at pickup and at return.
- Ready-made conditions written for Moroccan agencies, in Arabic, French, English, Spanish, German and Italian: full general conditions, a one-page version, long-term rental, a delivery and airport clause; and note templates (ID checked, deposit in cash, by card or by cheque, inspection at pickup, delivery, second driver, regular customer).
- Your default conditions and your own templates, saved once.
- Remote signing: a private link, valid for 7 days, that opens on your agency's website; the customer picks the page's language (six languages, Arabic included), reads the conditions you chose and signs with a finger on their phone. The link goes out by email or WhatsApp, or can be copied.
- Proof of signing: the time, the IP address and a fingerprint (SHA-256) of the signed content are recorded, then the contract is locked; a signature is refused if the contract changed after it was opened. It is a simple electronic signature, not a qualified one.
- Your signature (drawn on screen or uploaded) and your stamp printed on contracts.
- A PDF copy for the customer, in the language they signed in, Arabic included.
- Contract and invoice in A4, to print or save as PDF: ICE, RC, patente (business tax) and IF (tax identifier) numbers, booking reference, included kilometres, the deposit and its conditions, return charges, amount paid and balance, VAT included or added; your company's legal name and, if you enter them in Settings, your bank, RIB or IBAN and an invoice footer.
- The contract and invoice print in the language you choose beside Print: French (the default), Arabic (right to left), English, Spanish, German or Italian. Labels, legal mentions, dates and amounts follow that language, the invoice number stays the same, and what you or the customer typed prints as typed.
- Invoice numbers per agency and per year (2026/0001), never reused.
Rates, insurance, extras and delivery
- A daily price, and rates by rental length (for example 3 to 6 days, 7 to 14 days).
- Percentage discounts from 7 days and from 30 days.
- Season rates (August, Eid, the year end…), up to 12 per car: on the same dates every year, or between two set dates for a holiday that moves, like Eid; and a weekend rate.
- Insurance: a price per day, or packages (basic, standard, premium, full) with their description, chosen by the customer on the website.
- Extras (child seat, additional driver…) per car or from an agency catalogue, charged per day or per rental, with a quantity.
- A young-driver fee below the age you set, per rental day or once per rental: the customer ticks the box when booking on your website, or your staff tick it at the desk; the fee is added to the price and appears as its own line on the contract and the invoice. If the box is ticked after the contract is signed, the contract keeps the price it was signed at and the invoice shows the fee as a change to the booking.
- Delivery: a fee for your delivery cities, a fee for other cities, and free delivery above an amount.
- Unlimited kilometres, or a daily allowance and a price per extra kilometre, fixed on each booking.
- VAT included in the advertised price or added; prices in dirhams, or in euros, US dollars, pounds sterling, Canadian or Australian dollars.
- One price calculation: the price shown on the website is the price saved on the booking.
Payments, deposits and the cash journal
Guide: Payments, deposits and the cash journal- Several payments per booking (advance, balance) with the method (cash, card at the desk, bank transfer), a reference, the date and who recorded it; the paid, partly paid or unpaid status works itself out.
- An up-to-date balance: signed price, plus return charges, minus payments; an overpayment is flagged.
- A payment entered by mistake can be removed.
- A deposit per car or an agency default, with its conditions shown on the website and printed on the contract.
- Deposit tracking: taken (with its method), returned, partly or fully retained with the reason; only the retained part is added to the balance, and a deposit never counts as income.
- A cash journal for any period up to a year: every payment, totals by payment method, deposits held, returned and retained, and the bookings that still owe money; to print or export as CSV for your accountant.
Returns, condition and charges
Guide: Returns, kilometres and extra charges- A return in one step: date and time, the car's condition (excellent, good, fair, damaged), mileage, notes and up to 12 photos taken on a phone.
- Rentoth works out extra kilometres and late days at the rate sold and suggests them: nothing is charged without you.
- Return charges, line by line: late return, fuel, cleaning, kilometres, damage or your own label; they are added to the balance without changing the signed price.
- The deposit is settled at the return.
- The car's odometer is updated, and a return recorded by mistake can be undone; every return, correction and undo is noted in the booking's History.
Fleet, maintenance and car papers
Guide: Set up your agency- A file for each car: make, model, year, registration plate (unique within the agency), chassis number, category, gearbox, fuel, seats, doors, luggage, colour, mileage and equipment.
- Up to 30 photos per car, taken on a phone, with a choice of main photo.
- Available, rented, in maintenance or unavailable status, and cars featured on the website.
- Maintenance log: date, type (oil change, tyres, brakes, inspection, service, repair), cost, mileage, garage and next service date.
- Insurance, registration and technical inspection due dates: alerts in the dashboard and by email 30 days before, 7 days before and on the day, and shown on the calendar.
- A rental these papers do not cover is refused, on the website and at the desk; only a manager can override it.
- Cars fitted with a GPS tracker: note the installer and the link to its tracking app, visible to your staff only. Switch on the geolocation clause (law 09-08) with your CNDP authorisation number and it is added to those cars' contracts; Rentoth can then show the cars on a map (see "GPS tracking" below).
GPS tracking, with your own trackers
Guide: GPS tracking- Two ways to connect your trackers, both read-only. If they already report to a platform (Wialon, Traccar, Navixy, GPSWox or flespi), your installer gives you a read-only token or sub-user; you keep your installer and your subscription.
- If they report to no platform Rentoth can read, compatible trackers send their data straight to Rentoth's own tracking server: Teltonika, Concox (GT06), Queclink, Coban (GPS103), Ruptela, Sinotrack (H02) and TK103 clones. A manager turns it on in the Hub tab, then adds each tracker with its identifier (usually its IMEI), its brand and its car; the dashboard gives your installer the server, the port and the set-up steps for that brand, with the SMS to send for brands set by SMS. The server keeps the raw positions 7 days.
- Pointing a tracker at Rentoth's server takes its data away from your installer's platform, its app and its engine cut-off, unless the tracker can send to two servers at once: check with your installer first.
- Each tracker linked to its car: for a platform, Rentoth suggests the pairs by plate, chassis number, identifier or name, and a manager confirms each one; a tracker on Rentoth's server gets its car when you add it, or later.
- A live map of the fleet, refreshed every 30 seconds, and a panel per car: last position, speed, ignition, odometer, time of the last signal, the route of the last 1, 6 or 24 hours, and a link that opens the position in Google Maps.
- The kilometres read by the tracker, offered at pickup and at return beside the mileage field: your staff check them against the dashboard before saving.
- Alerts in the dashboard when a car moves with no rental in progress, when a rented car's tracker goes silent for the number of hours you choose (2, 6, 12 or 24), and, for managers, when a connection stops working.
- Positions kept 7, 30 or 90 days, as you choose (30 by default), and a log of who viewed the map, a car or a route. No position is recorded during a rental recorded in Rentoth whose contract does not carry the geolocation clause.
- It works only once your agency has its own CNDP prior authorisation and has switched on the contract's geolocation clause. Managers set it up; counter staff see the map.
- Connecting your own platform is included in every plan. Trackers that send directly to Rentoth's tracking server have a monthly fee per tracker, added to your subscription: see the pricing page. The trackers, their SIM cards and any platform subscription stay between you and your installer.
- Read-only: Rentoth never cuts an engine and sends no command to any car. It is monitoring help, not a security or recovery service, and Rentoth does not sell or install trackers.
Team, roles and security
Guide: Team members and roles- Unlimited logins on every plan, one per person.
- Two roles: a manager can do everything except save the agency's Settings, which only the account owner can do; counter staff handle bookings, contracts, payments, returns and the cash journal.
- Counter staff cannot delete a car, a contract or a rental point, change the agency's settings, the website, the domain name or the team, see the Rentoth subscription, or override expired papers.
- Add, deactivate and reactivate logins; a deactivated login keeps its history, and the owner's login cannot be deactivated.
- Changing your password signs out your other sessions, and repeated sign-in attempts are blocked.
- Optional two-step sign-in for every login, managers and counter staff alike: once a person turns it on, signing in asks, after the password, for a 6-digit code from an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Aegis…), with 10 single-use recovery codes.
- A manager who has turned on their own two-step sign-in can require it for the whole team: until a member turns it on, the dashboard shows them none of the agency's data. The Team page shows who has it on.
- Lost phone: a manager resets a colleague's two-step sign-in from the Team page, and the colleague is signed out everywhere; the owner's account is reset by our team. An email warns the person when two-step sign-in is turned on, off or reset, when a recovery code is used and after several wrong codes.
Several agencies and rental points
- Offices, airports, train stations and ports in one account, each with its address, phone number, email, Google Maps link, opening hours and meeting point.
- Each car assigned to a rental point; on your website, search by city and filter by rental point.
- A "Pick-up" section on your website with your rental points, the meeting point, a call button and directions.
- All your points share one account: the same team, the same cash journal and the same legal identity (ICE, RC) on invoices.
Dashboard, statistics and exports
- Dashboard: today's pickups, returns and overdue cars; for managers, the month's takings, the amount still owed, deposits held and a 12-month chart.
- Statistics over 7 days, 30 days, 90 days or 12 months: revenue booked and collected, the booking trend, the 10 cars that earn the most, the top 5 customers, the average rental length and the days rented.
- CSV exports that open in Excel, accents and Arabic intact, with column titles in your dashboard's language: the bookings as the list is filtered (customer, car, dates, total, paid, balance due, deposit), your customers (everyone found in your bookings and contracts, once each, with their number of rentals, total paid and last rental) and your cars (status, price per day, deposit, papers' due dates).
- The cash journal also exports as CSV and prints; every contract and every invoice saves as a PDF.
Six languages, Arabic included
- Dashboard in Arabic, French, English, Spanish, German and Italian, Arabic right to left; each person picks their own language, and their notifications follow it.
- The agency website in the same six languages: you choose the main language, visitors can switch, and your texts (home page titles, introduction, questions, cancellation note) are written language by language.
- Emails to customers, contract conditions, the signing page and the customer's copy in all six languages.
- Arabic-ready fonts for your website, and dates and the calendar in Arabic.
- The contract and invoice print in French by default, as is usual in Morocco, or in Arabic, English, Spanish, German or Italian, chosen when you print.
Website design, content and Google visibility
Guide: Your booking website- 20 starting themes (from classic and luxury to sport, electric, medina or airport), then your colours, 28 fonts, corners, shadows, buttons, header and footer.
- Logo, cover photo and home page titles per language, with a preview on phone and computer, Arabic included.
- Home page sections to hide or reorder: figures, strengths, featured cars, testimonials, introduction, contact, fleet by category, conditions, pick-up, questions.
- Your rental conditions (minimum age, years of licence, documents required, fuel, travel abroad, cancellation) and the payment and deposit methods you accept, shown on the website.
- Questions and answers: 13 answers written from your data, which you can hide, and up to 12 questions of your own.
- Testimonials you enter, shown with their stars on your website but never declared to Google as ratings, and an "Our Google reviews" button that links to your profile.
- The agency's legal line (company name, ICE, RC) on the website.
- Nothing made up: the website shows only what your data proves, with no figures or promises by default.
- Automatic technical SEO: pages readable without JavaScript, titles and descriptions, AutoRental and Car structured data, sitemap.xml and robots.txt, link previews with a photo, clean redirects.
- A "Google visibility" section: your details ready to copy into your Google Business Profile, and a list of steps.
- Your own domain name: the Domain page shows the DNS record to add and lets you test it; once our team has verified the domain, your website opens on it over HTTPS and youragency.rentoth.com redirects to it.
What Rentoth does not do
- No payment processing: Rentoth takes no card or online payments; you record the payments you receive (cash, card at the desk, bank transfer).
- No automatic SMS or WhatsApp messages, and no reminder to the customer before pickup: the WhatsApp buttons open a chat on the customer's phone or yours.
- No engine cut-off and no command to a car: GPS tracking is read-only, and Rentoth does not sell or install trackers.
- No export to accounting software: bookings, customers, cars and the cash journal export as CSV files, which open in Excel.
- No photos at pickup and no damage diagram: the condition at pickup is noted in the contract.
- No separate customer database, no blacklist, no automatic reading of the CIN, and no customer accounts: your customers book without one.
- No maintenance reminders: the next service date is noted in the maintenance log, which marks it when it is near or past, with no notification and no email.
- Two-step sign-in uses an authenticator app only: no codes by SMS or email, and no passkeys or security keys.
- No app to install and no online sign-up: Rentoth runs in the browser, and we set up your agency with you after a demo.
See it with your own fleet
Every one of these features is included in every plan, with unlimited users and no setup fee; only trackers on Rentoth's tracking server have a monthly fee per tracker.
