1. Your agency details
Open Settings. Your agency's name, phone, email and address appear on your website, on contracts and on invoices, so fill them in first.
- Add your logo and the contact details customers should use.
- Enter your ICE, RC, patente and IF (tax identifier): they are printed on every invoice, with your legal name and, if you add them, your bank, RIB or IBAN and an invoice footer.
- Choose whether your prices include VAT or have it added, and at which rate.
- Set your business hours: they are shown on your website.
- In Email notifications, choose the emails the agency receives (new website bookings, contract signed, car papers to renew), whether your customers are emailed, and the language of your emails.
2. Where customers pick up the cars
In Locations, add your office and the places you hand over cars, such as the airport or a train station. Customers choose from this list when they book.
3. Your first cars
In Cars, add each car with its photos, daily price, deposit and documents. Start with the cars you rent most: you can add the rest later.
- Add clear photos: the first one is the cover on your website.
- Set the daily price, and prices by duration or season if you use them.
- Choose the kilometre policy: unlimited, or a daily allowance with a price per extra kilometre.
- Enter the insurance, registration and technical inspection dates: Rentoth alerts you in the dashboard and by email before they expire.
4. Your team
In Team, create a login for each person at the desk. Staff can take bookings and contracts; managers also see the billing, and only the owner can change the agency's Settings. Each person can protect their login with two-step sign-in, in Settings.
5. Open your website
Open Website Design to pick a look for your website, then use Visit Website to see it as your customers will. Share its address on WhatsApp, Instagram and Google.
