Which software should a car rental agency in Morocco choose? 2026 comparison

Every fact comes from the vendor's own website, read on 5 or 6 October 2026: its pricing page, features page, FAQ or llms.txt file (a summary a vendor publishes for AI assistants). In the tables, each product name links to the page we read; the full list of pages is at the end of the article.

• Prices are copied as displayed, in dirhams. "Excl. VAT" appears only when the vendor says so.
• "Not stated" means we did not find it on the pages we read, not that the feature does not exist: ask the vendor.
• No scores, no ranking, no customer reviews: only facts anyone can check.

Prices and plans change often. This comparison is reviewed every quarter and its update date is shown at the top of the page. If you publish one of these products and something is wrong, write to us from the contact page: we will correct it.

Advertised monthly plans range from 99 to 990 MAD a month (excluding VAT for some vendors, unspecified for others), depending on the number of vehicles, users and branches. Several vendors discount annual billing; others sell only by the year or in 6- or 12-month periods.

The advertised price is not always the full cost: check add-ons, set-up fees and the commitment period. Examples we found: at CRB, optional one-off services: connecting your own domain name (300 MAD excl. VAT once, free on the largest plan), entering your fleet (990 MAD excl. VAT) and setting up your Google business profile (490 MAD excl. VAT); at Elaicar, the booking website and GPS are monthly add-ons; at GoRently, the booking website comes only with the CORE plan and above.

On these points the offers differ clearly. Of the 13 products compared, five advertise a booking website for the agency (included, as an add-on or from a given plan), only one advertises an Arabic contract, and five advertise some form of electronic signature.

Other differences may matter for your agency:

• GPS tracking: AtlasLoca connects to a GPS tracker you already have (Wialon-based), Rentoth reads, read-only, the platform your trackers already use (Wialon, Traccar, Navixy, GPSWox or flespi) or receives compatible trackers (Teltonika, Concox, Queclink, Coban, Ruptela and others) directly on its own server for a monthly fee per tracker, Elaicar sells GPS tracking as an add-on, and CRB lists it as coming soon.
• Mobile app: LocaFlotte offers an Android app for field agents, Fleetement advertises iOS and Android, and CRSApp links to an app on the App Store and Google Play.
• Other tools: a customer blacklist (Elaicar, CRB, Fleetement), automatic reading of the national ID card (CRB, Agencar, Elaicar), a WhatsApp assistant (Elaicar, Agencar).
• Paying the subscription: Locapp and CRB state payment by bank transfer; CRSApp, online payment.

Start from your rental desk, not from a feature list. Ask for a written answer on at least these points:

1. The cost over a year: plan, add-ons, set-up, domain name and commitment period, for your number of cars, staff and branches.
2. The plan's limits: vehicles, staff accounts, branches, and what happens when you exceed them.
3. The booking website: included or an add-on, under your name or on a subdomain, in which languages, and whether requests land directly in your calendar.
4. The contract: in Arabic, in French or both; editable by you; signed at the desk, remotely, or both.
5. Deposits and payments: how the software records them, and whether it collects any money itself.
6. Your data: where it is hosted, who can access it, and in what format you get it back if you switch software.
7. The trial: run it with your real cars and a real week of bookings, not with demo data.

Whatever the software, have your rental terms reviewed by a lawyer: a contract template supplied by a vendor does not replace advice on your own situation.

Based on what the vendors publish, here is where to look first. Always test with your own data before deciding.

• Small fleet, small budget: the entry plans of LocaFlotte and Elaicar are advertised at 99 MAD a month (excluding VAT at LocaFlotte, unspecified at Elaicar), and AtlasLoca has a free plan for up to 3 vehicles.
• A booking website for your agency: CRB, CR Manager, Rentyx (a mini-site for booking requests) and Rentoth include one in every plan, GoRently from its CORE plan, and Elaicar sells one as an add-on.
• Contracts in Arabic: AtlasLoca (bilingual French-Arabic) and Rentoth advertise them; LocaFlotte states French-only contracts.
• Remote signing: LocaFlotte and Rentoth describe signing by link, and GoRently signing from the customer's smartphone before pick-up; AtlasLoca describes signing on a tablet, and CRB contracts signed on screen.
• GPS tracking: AtlasLoca or Rentoth (with your own tracker; at Rentoth read-only, once you have your CNDP authorisation: through your platform, included in every plan, or sent directly to its server for a monthly fee per tracker) or Elaicar (add-on).
• A mobile app to install: LocaFlotte (Android, for agents), Fleetement (iOS and Android, according to its llms.txt) or CRSApp (App Store and Google Play); Rentoth runs in the browser.

Its limits, worth knowing before you choose:

• No self sign-up online: we set up your agency with you after a demo.
• No engine cut-off and no command to a car: GPS tracking is read-only, from your own trackers.
• No automatic SMS or WhatsApp messages: the WhatsApp buttons open a chat.
• No customer blacklist and no automatic reading of the CIN.
• No export to accounting software: bookings, customers, cars and the cash journal export as CSV.
• Rentoth does not collect your customers' payments: you record the payments and deposits you receive (cash, card or bank transfer).
• No app to install from a store: Rentoth runs in the browser, on a computer, tablet or phone.
• The signature is a simple electronic signature (the time, the IP address and a fingerprint of the signed content are recorded), not a qualified electronic signature under law 43-20 (only a qualified signature is presumed reliable).
• Data is hosted outside Morocco; the hosting providers are listed on the About page.
